Description - Description: The Works consists of the stream restoration length of approximately 1,425 LF. The design utilizes Priority Level 2 restoration, adding sinuosity back into the previously straightened channel. The banks along the floodplain of the confin ed channel will be graded back allowing for 3 to 1 slopes, creating greater stability. A low-gradient C4 channel has been designed for the site, utilizing woody features such as log sills and brush toe to dissipate velocities and shear stresses during storm flows.
