Description - Description The Town of Golden invites proposals from qualified paving contractors for the rehabilitation of the 500 Block of 8th Street South.  Work generally includes removal and disposal of existing asphalt and road gravels, reshaping of sub- grade, supply and placement of 400mm of 75mm minus sub-base course, 100mm of 25mm minus base course, and 50mm of asphalt.  The municipality is also contemplating optional drainage works and replacement of existing curb returns and sidewalk.
