Description - Description: The Sarnen town center on Brünigstrasse has a short to medium-term need for further, extensive action on an approximately 1.8 km long stretch in the Seestrasse - Bitzighofen section, in addition to the need for repairs to the road, engi neering structures and utility lines. Insufficient visibility, pedestrian paths interrupted by side junctions and in places insufficient sidewalk widths as well as a lack of bicycle infrastructure also pose safety risks.As part of the Road Safety Inspection (RSI) in 2020, the route was examined for road safety deficits and measures to improve road safety were derived from this.
