Description - Description: In connection with the establishment of the “New Hanseatic Museum” in Finnegården at Bryggen in Bergen, the exhibition project requires the restoration and conservation of a number of paintings. The paintings are of older date, oil on canvas and oil on wood. The work ranges from simple cleaning, to repairing frames to removing varnish, retouching and repairing damage to the canvas. The final number of paintings, and the extent per painting, will be clarified during the course of the project.
