Description - Description: Bio-VV Oy is building a biogas plant next to Vesikolmio Oy's Kalajoki central treatment plant in Kalajoki. The biogas plant will process Vestia Oy's biowaste and Vesikolmio Oy's treatment plant sludge, as well as side batches from the fe ed industry in the nearby area and biofractions generated in agriculture and fur farms. The plant can also receive side fractions from the food industry, such as fat fractions. Treatment sludge is processed on a separate line. The total capacity of the plant is 80,000 t/a.
