Description - Description: The Turpenriet in the municipality of Kirchberg is of national importance as a flat bog, as a nature reserve and as an amphibian spawning area. The canton of St. Gallen provides to renovate the amphibian control system comprehensively an d to adapt to today's needs. The control system is dismantled. The project comprises the creation of four approx. 12.50 m long amphibian leaves with a dimension of 1.0 m x 0.60 m. A tail with a length of approx. 216 m on the north side and approx. 263 m on the south side of the Strasse is to be created. In addition, three amphibian tops for access are created.
