Description - Description: The SBB Wangserstrasse underpass is located directly at the Sargans/Mels motorway junction between Castelplatz and Sulfurbadplatz and spans the railway line of the SBB Chur-Zurich line. Due to the poor structural condition of the SBB und erpass and the condition of the road, extensive repair work was planned on this structure. After preliminary clarification of a corresponding preliminary project draft with the SBB, it became apparent that repairs to the existing bridge structure were not feasible due to insufficient space.
