The project, which is located at Okeechobee and Highlands Counties, Florida, consists of g routing the existing riprap and placing additional riprap downstream of the existing riprap. The S-69 Weir serves as the downstream terminus of the C-38 backfill in the Kissimmee River Restoration, dissipating the energy of flows transitioning from the restored Kissimmee River floodplain to the remaining part of the C-38 canal downstream.
