Description - Description: In connection with the establishment of the KKÁT Phase III. Phase 3., the Contractor is tasked with expanding the operating nuclear facility with a new MVDS (Modular Vault Dry Storage) storage building. The MVDS storage facility is bein g established for the temporary storage of spent fuel assemblies of VVER 440 type reactors. The spent fuel assembly dry storage system is built by arranging modules consisting of chambers. Within the modules, chambers of the same size and design are connected to each other on their longer sides. In the chambers, the spent cartridges are stored in vertical storage tubes.
