Description - Description: The object to be repaired is the remainder of an industrial chimney on the Kubaai site in Bocholt, Industriestrasse 1. The tower is said to have been around 50 m high when it was built and to have been shortened to its current height of around 26 m after it was closed down. The tower currently stands freely on a concrete and masonry foundation that protrudes above the ground level. The tower is made of brickwork in what is known as the "Reich format" (dimensions approx. 240-250 x 115 x 60-65 mm) and has 4 clear longitudinal cracks with crack lengths ranging from 1.7 to approx. 10.3 m.
