Description - Description: University has a need for two laboratory scale benchtop micromolding injection molding machines.One is for processing thermoplastic polymers such as PLA and one is for processing 2-component (liquid) silicones such as LSR. The accessorie s include custom mold(s) for manufacturing standardized mechanical testing samples. The university is intending to use the machines in prototyping microfluidic chips and related machine parts in small scale. Therefore the ability to use in-house custom made 3D-printed molds is required for the thermoplastics machine and seen as an advantage for the LSR machine.University is expecting to buy both molding machines from same tenderer.
