Description - Description: Tornio Bridge L-1614 is located in Tornio on Highway 29, crossing the Tornio River. The bridge is a continuous steel girder bridge with a reinforced concrete deck. The total length of the bridge is 318 m and the usable width is 17.5 m. T he bridge is founded on six reinforced concrete supports. The bridge was completed in 1979.In the bridge renovation contract, the deck structure will be renewed in 2 stages during 2025 and 2026. In addition, the bridge's ground and intermediate supports will be renovated.
