Description - Description: This is a public notice in accordnace with FAR 5.2 Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. The Library of Congress requires contract support to service its Lasergraphics 5k+ Scan Station scanning system. This scanning system was originall y installed in the National Audiovisual Conservation Center (NAVCC) Film Preservation Laboratory in Fiscal Year 14. The scanning system is a vital component of the Library’s digitization efforts as it converts motion picture film into digital files. The maintenance and support of this system is necessary for the Film Preservation Lab to continue fulfilling it and the Library’s mission to digitize its collections for both preservation and publ
