Description - Description: The Pohjois-Savo welfare area must organize the statutory rescue and first aid services in its area. The service production of the rescue operation is governed by the Rescue Act, the regulations issued on the basis of which require opera tional readiness in terms of time and resources in order to start an effective rescue operation. The areas of the center of Leppävirta and Sorsakoski form a II risk area, where effective rescue operations must start within 10 minutes.
