Description - Description: Liard River Hot Springs Park is located at kilometer 765 of the Alaska Highway in Northern BC. The Liard area is important to local First Nations, regional residents, and the traveling public. The hot springs have been a popular tourist destination for decades. In 2010, a hydrogeological assessment was completed to model the thermal water source area that recharges Liard River Hot Springs. The Federal Government contracted the assessment due to their responsibilities associated with species at risk.
