Description - Description: The purpose of this consultation is to improve knowledge of the spatial distribution and ecological status of the maërl bed within the Gironde Estuary and Pertuis Sea Marine Natural Park, as well as its paleoecology in light of the orig inal geographical characteristics of the habitat (located as far south-west as possible in its known distribution area). A previous consultation on the same topic was initiated last spring, but due to a poor estimate by the market of the amount of the need that the market met, the procedure was abandoned.
