Description - Description: There are "coupling areas" in the port of Ghent. Coupling areas are transition zones between the villages and the port industry. In addition to buffers, link areas are zones where residents, employees and visitors can relax and cycle to and from work in a safe way. They are young green islands in a highly urbanized and industrialized neighborhood. For local residents they create a pleasant and safe added value.
