Description - Description: The aim of this procedure is to establish a framework contract with an external workshop / company for the manufacturing of Small Punch test (SPT) specimens. JRC.G.4 performs SPT to determine tensile and creep properties of alloys and ha s significant obligations to deliver such tests within a number of competitive projects (e.g. EASI-SMR, INNUMAT, Open Access projects, .). JRC.G.I.4 can only do finishing of SPT specimens (grinding & polishing) and this only manually, which requires significant human resources to produce just a few specimens.
