Description - Description: On 14 June 2022, the Storting passed the division of Troms and Finnmark county into Troms county and Finnmark county, Vestfold and Telemark county into Vestfold county and Telemark county, Viken county into Østfold, Buskerud and Akershu s counties and Ålesund municipality into new Ålesund and Haram municipalities. The divisions came into effect on 1 January 2024. The purpose of the assignment is to map and document the experiences the newly established counties and municipalities have had with the practical implementation of the division and with the legal framework for the division. The gathering of experience shall be used, among other things, to evaluate and possibly revise
