Description - Description: In 2025 the Norwegian Environment Agency will start a new project that, during the two year project period, shall create a all-covering nature map for use in the general area planning and nature accounts at the municipal level. The map s hall be based on Nature in Norway system (NiN) and remote sensing data, and machine learning models will be used to produce the map. In order to achieve the goal, the project starts by focusing on eight test municipalities and will produce maps for them.
