Description - Description: The Vlijmens Ven, Moerputten and Bossche Broek stream landscape was designated by the Netherlands in 2013 as a habitat directive area for 7 habitat types and 7 habitat directive species. The dark pimpernel blue is one of the designated s pecies for which a favorable state of conservation is the purpose. The current rural and local state of maintenance of the dark pimpernel blue is very unfavorable. The species has recently disappeared from the Netherlands. To achieve a favorable state of maintenance, reintroduction of the species is necessary.
