Description - The project will consist of rebuilding and/or raising berms to fill breaches, removal of damaged existing culverts, installing replacement culverts with new 36-inch HDPE culverts, and placing graded riprap as shoreline protection within the Matagorda Island Unit of Aransas National Wildlife Refuge. Sand sources for berm construction are available on Matagorda Island.
