Description - Description: To the north of the Walter Scott Military Road site there are three historically significant buildings dating from the 18th to 9th century: the Surgeons Building, 1680 to 1685, the Infirmary Building ,1720 to 1740, with associated Coach House and the Laundry Building, 1700s. Two of these OPW owned buildings, Surgeons and Infirmary, are protected structures and are registered on the DCC Schedule of Protected Structures. The Infirmary is a recorded monument, Ref. DU018 020292, Hospital. All of the buildings are currently vacant and in poor condition.
