Description - Description: HHR purifies wastewater from households and companies at 19 wastewater treatment plants (AWZI). Rijnland purifies the wastewater according to the standards and as efficiently and sustainably as possible. In order to meet the correct requ irements for the effluent (outgoing water), we use various types of chemicals in the purification process. We use aluminium chloride and iron chloride to remove phosphate. And we use acetic acid to speed up denitrification and to remove nitrogen. In the event of a calamity (failure of the installation) or insufficient capacity in the purification process, HHR rents a (mobile) chemical dosing installation. A mobile dosing installation is necessary
