Description - The Nunavik Regional Health and Social Services Board (RRSSSN) wishes to acquire a mobile x-ray device. This device will mainly be used to take chest x-rays with a 43x43 cm detector in a variable height wall mount. It may also be used in urgent cases when a resource is available. It will be regularly used by the Inuulitsivik Health Center (CSI) in a single room to take chest x-rays as well as in the emergency room of the Akulivik CLSC. The expected volume of activity is on average 10 shots/month outside of an outbreak, 100 shots during an outbreak of tuberculosis, COVID or any other highly contagious agent. The CSI does not currently have any equipment to carry out x-ray examinations.
