Description - Description: Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) owns the Mount Devlin communications tower, building and land comprising Lot 48 on SP 264126, Mount Devlin Road, Collinsville Qld 4804. The tower is a 25 m metal lattice construction which is over 20 years old, which was damaged during Cyclone Debbie. Although the tower is still standing, the tower has been assessed as currently structurally unsafe to climb, but potentially repairable. The associated building which houses related communications equipment is still considered fit for purpose but requires some minor repairs.Council is considering no longer operating the communications towers and is tendering the opportunity for a Lessee to oper
