The Mount Zion Apostolic C hurch is a Grade II listed building originally designed by Reginald Cooper as a cinema in the 1930s. Of the 13 cinemas designed by Cooper throughout the Midlands and Yorkshire, 8 have been demolished, 3 still exist but are closed or vacant, and only one still operates as a cinema. The building of Mount Zion has drawn comment from Historic England for the intact nature of the interior decoration, which is a rare survival in cinemas of this age and
