Description - Description: The project "National road N08, repair of the Giswil tunnel BSA" involves repairing the operating and safety systems (BSA) of the Giswil tunnel. The majority of the BSA on the affected section is in poor condition, and some parts of the system are already critical. The project aims to renew the systems so that safe operation is guaranteed until at least 2040. The BSA are to be integrated into the higher-level control system of GE X (UeLS zentras) for remote control and monitoring. Parts of the system that are no longer required are to be dismantled.
