Description - Description: SWO Netz GmbH operates the Thiene waterworks around 20 km north of Osnabrück, which is the largest waterworks in the supply area with a current pumping capacity of 820 m³/h and a treatment capacity of around 800 m³/h. To ensure future capacity and quality requirements, a new waterworks with a treatment capacity of 1,000 m³/h is to replace the existing waterworks at the Thiene site. The new waterworks (including pure water tank) and an associated settling plant are to be built on the open spaces of the waterworks site in the immediate vicinity of the existing plant.
