Description - Description: The selected individual or firm shall provide a structural engineering review of the structural plans and specifications of the proposed new school facility in accordance with Conn. Gen. Stat. § 29-276b(b). The structural engineering fi rm shall submit to the School Building Committee (SBC) via the Owner’s Project Manager (OPM), a written report of its structural review of the proposed facility for compliance with the requirements of the State Building Code (“Code”) and shall specifically identify any members, systems, and/or components of the primary structural support systems that do not comply with the requirements of the Code.
