Description - Description: The purpose of the project is to deliver a new Human Training Centrifuge (HTC) and constructing a new building for the HTC. At the Center for Man in Aviation (CML), a HTC is currently housed within an existing building. The current HTC i s outdated and needs to be replaced. The HTC is an electrically driven long arm centrifuge with a gondola attached. In the gondola, there is a chair, video- and audio equipment, and a display is installed. It also includes a monitoring system for the student/ pilot inside the gondola. A two-way communication system ensures the communication between the student/ pilot and the trainer/ doctor.
