Description - Description: The LEDS devices in use are at the end of their life cycle. We currently use a total of 50 devices from the manufacturers Ceia, Cobalt and Nuctech. We are currently equipping our passenger screening lines with new CT devices. Due to the technology used in the CT devices, the LEDS devices offered must not be based on X-ray technology. We are aiming to procure a total of 46 LEDS devices (subject to change). In order to have the greatest possible flexibility for the determination of liquid explosives, we will use two different technologies (e.g. spectrometry, microwaves).
