Dear Sir,
The tender are invited for the work as described in the enclosed BOQ. The blank tender
shall be downloaded from science city website (www.sciencecity.gujarat.gov.in) Downloaded
tenders shall be submitted physically with tender fees and EMD through DD.
The last date of submission of tenders duly filled in Sealed cover along with tender fee of
Rs. 1770/- and EMD of Rs. 3000/- by Demand Draft (in favour of Executive Director,
Gujarat Council of Science City payable at Ahmedabad) the rates shall be filled in both in
words and figures. No tender will be received after aforesaid date and time, under any
circumstances whatsoever.
The sealed cover of physical documents shall be super scribed: “New soak pit for Hall of
Space and Hall of Science at Science City, Ahmedabad
Agencies having adequate experience of similar type work will only be considered.
Terms &Conditions: -
1) The rates quoted shall include all taxes, levies, transportation and delivery at site.
2) The agency at his own cost shall replace any rejected material at site of work.
3) The rates quoted shall be valid for at least 12 months from the work order issued
date. It may be extended for further period of 12 months on mutual agreement basis.
4) Order may not be placed for all items.
5) Order for part quantity shall be acceptable.
6) The complete work shall be done as directed by engineer in charge to the
satisfaction of site requirement.
7) The water & electricity if required for the current work shall be provided by GCSC at
one location only. Necessary arrangement for DG set may be done by contractor for
the work, if the electricity is not available at site of work. Contractor shall make his
own arrangement to carry the same at required site location, under strict supervision
and prior permission of GCSC.
8) Successful bidder shall submit security deposit @ 5% of individual contract value in
the form of BG, and it will be retained for the period up to 12 months after completion
of the respective work. Agency shall carry out defect found in the work during the
warranty period at his own cost.
9) Bids shall be accompanied by two separate Demand Drafts of tender fee and EMD.
Bids shall be filled in through download of document from above mentioned web site
and to be filled in for physical submission.
10) Tender fee & EMD shall be submitted along with supporting documents for period
from 03-04-2023 to 24-04-2023.by 18.00 hrs. Through Speed Post/ courier/ Hand
delivery. Bidder should submit two separate covers: One for technical documents
along with two separate DD for EMD and tender fees. Other for financial bid (Price
Bid) only.
11) The work shall be completed within period of 45 days as mentioned in the letter of
award to the qualified bidder.
12) EMD of unsuccessful bidders shall be refunded without interest after approval of the
tender of the work.
13) Tenders (technical bid) shall be opened on 27-04-2023 at 12:30 pm in the office of
GCSC, if possible. Financial bids of only those bidders shall be opened who are
technically qualified.

specified in the said memorandum at the rates mentioned in the attached Schedule of
Quantities and in accordance in all respects with the specifications, design, drawings and
instructions in writing referred to in conditions of tender, the Articles of Agreement, Special
Conditions, Schedule of Quantities and Conditions of Contract and with such materials as
are provided for by, and in all other respects in accordance with such conditions so far as
they may be applicable.
