Description - Description: The project will consist of repairs to a shore-connected, rubble-mound breakwater that provides protection from ocean waves to King Harbor in Redondo Beach, Los Angeles County, California. Repair work will consist of resetting of existin g armor stone as needed and furnishing and placement of approximately 8,000 tons of new armor stone having a median stone size of 14-tons. There is an armor stone bench on the harborside of the structure that also requires repairs, the bench is at elevation +10.0 feet MLLW and has a width of 8.0 feet.
