Description - Description: The 2nd Range Operations Squadron, Vandenberg SFB, CA intends to issue a sole source procurement action for a service upgrade on (3) FLIR RS6780 Mid-Wave Infared Cameras. Manufacturer will perform camera upgrade by installing a Neutral D ensity (ND) Filter Wheel on all (3) FLIR RS6780 Mid-Wave Infrared cameras; ND-0, ND-01 and ND-03 filters will be added and manufacturer will complete sensor calibration and system testing at Teledyne FLIR repair/service facility. Market reasearch indicates that Teledyne FLIR is the sole manufacturer of IR camera parts and is the only contractor qualified to perform installation, testing, and calibration necessary for this upgrade.
