Description - Description: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is seeking operations and maintenance support for the NRC's Emergency Response Data System (ERDS). The ERDS is one of the Information Technology (IT) systems used at NRC Headquarters Operation Cen ter (HOC)  after a nuclear emergency is declared at a U.S. nuclear power plant. The system is Federally-regulated through Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 50.72.A.4, which states that the licensee must activate ERDS within 1 hour after the licensee declares an emergency at an emergency class level of “alert” or higher (higher means the declaration of a “site area emergency” or “general emergency”).
