Description - Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source delivery order to The Boeing Company for retrofit installation of Government furnished kits on up to two (2) USN P-8A Aircraft to enable communication with proliferate d Low-Earth Orbit (pLEO) satellites. The Navy requires completion of the installations by approximately 4th quarter FY2025. These requirements will be procured pursuant of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” As the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft, The Boeing Company is the only source that currently posses
