Description - Description: V/Line Corporation is seeking proposals from organisations interested in the procurement of P‑class locomotives currently deemed surplus to V/Line fleet operation requirements.There are 3 P-class locomotives P12, P13 and P15The objecti ves of the disposal are to:Ensure V/Line receive a ‘value for money’ proposal from a suitable tenderer.Ensure the freight rail industry can access selected surplus V/Line broad-gauge rolling stock for broad-gauge freight use when it is available.Ensure the locomotives are returned to service as reliable broad-gauge freight locomotives in a timely fashion by an organisation that has the capability to return them to a high standard of operation
