Description - Description: The object of the acquisition is a particle size analyzer whose measurement is based on laser diffraction (scattering of laser light). The device is intended to measure the particle size distribution of suspensions, emulsions and powders . The device requires both dry and wet measurement options, a sample mixing/dispersing unit, and a vacuum cleaner with hoses needed to create a negative pressure. The optics of the device have a red and blue laser, the measurement range is at least 1 mm - 0.1 µm and the device has automatic laser beam alignment in every measurement.
