Description - Description: The purpose of this Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation is to notify potential Offerors that PBGC intends to solicit quotations via a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to award a single firm fixed price purchase order for its Pension Insurance Modeling System (PIMS) Independent Peer Review – Parallel Testing and Reconciliation. In order to promote a seamless transition to the new models, both the Legacy and Transformational Pension Insurance Modeling System (T-PIMS) models will be run in parallel each year over a consecutive 3-year period and Annual Projections Report results produced by the two models will be compared, analyzed, and reconciled.
