Description - Description: The town of Doberlug-Kirchhain is the owner of the station building and most of the areas around the station and intends to upgrade and modernize the entire area. Funding from the Coal Regions Investment Act (Structural Strengthening of Lusatia) has been promised for this. It is currently expected that modernization investments in the station building will amount to around EUR 5.5 million and investment costs for the redesign of the station area will amount to around EUR 5.3 million.
