Description - Description: USDA’s National Centers for Animal Health in Ames, Iowa, includes an aquaculture facility in the basement of building 20. The water service for the aquaculture facility is connected at the most hydraulically remote point in the water s ervice for building 20. In the event of a failure of the building or campus water supply, there won’t be sufficient pressure and flow to keep aquaculture operating. The objectives of this project are to add redundancy to the aquaculture water supply by connecting the aquaculture system service nearer to the building’s domestic water entrance.
