Description - Description: The Air Force intends to solicit the following supply: The 76 CMXG/MXDE is requesting utilization of funds for the purchase of Portable Shearography System. The requested equipment item descriptions/specifications are outlined below. Por table Vacuum/Thermal mode Shearography NDT System: • Must have both Vacuum and Thermal inspection modes (Note: The stressing mechanism (i.e. vacuum and thermal stress), laser, and camera must be integral to the inspection head and attach directly to the structure undergoing test.) • Must utilize a green laser for laser speckle • Vacuum Generator & System Controller • Designed specifically to inspect composite and metallic bonded structure
