Description - Description: Ireland will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union from 1 July to 31 December 2026. During the Presidency, an extensive and wide-ranging programme of meetings, events and conferences will be held in Ireland. These are likely to include both one-day and multi-day events, with attendance numbers ranging from under 50 to over 2,000 participants, including a large proportion of participants travelling to Ireland from other EU Member States. There will be a requirement for ground transportation of attendees to the various events.
