Description - Description: Preparation and delivery of meals for the child day care facilities run by the city. A catering concept is being put out to tender for the eight child day care facilities run by the city of Arnstadt. In six facilities, the contractor pre fers a frozen food/cook & freeze process for lunch, in accordance with the wishes of the parents' representatives and the local popularity. The frozen food/cook & freeze process describes a temporal and thermal decoupling of production and serving. The meals are prepared to a certain degree of completion. They are then shock-frozen, stored in a frozen state, transported and only finally cooked in the combi steamer immediately before consumption.
