Bidders should regularly visit the website to keep themselves updated. 2 Introduction to IKS Division of MoE IKS Division of MoE was established in Oct. 2020 located at AICTE Headquarters in New Delhi. Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) consists of rigorous and robust systems of knowledge creation and learning of Bhārata in various Bharatiya languages spanning several millennia, covering all aspects of human existence and thought, through an unbroken oral, textual, folk and art traditions. The Vision of the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Division is to rejuvenate and mainstream Indian Knowledge Systems for the contemporary world in the current societal context. I] Introduction of tender requirement This tender requirement document outlines the specifications and expectations for the development of two documentaries focused on a) the sustainable agricultural practices of India from prehistoric to current times; b) the integrated concept of health developed in India that includes Ayurveda, Vrikshayurveda and Pashuayurveda resulting in a paradigm of thinking about health in a wholistic way called Arogya Buddhi in the texts. The purpose of this tender is to invite qualified vendors to propose their services and capabilities to create two immersive documentaries that showcase the Indian heritage in a grand manner befitting its hoary and sacred traditions to the world. The documentaries must be exclusively focused on showcasing India’s heritage and be in alignment with the IKS Division mission. II] Scope for Documentaries: The scope of the project will include the following: 1. Best possible quality (minimum 4k UHD, professional color grading, advanced animatic and graphics, creative editing, professional mastering and mixing) of documentaries to showcase India’s knowledge systems of 15-20 min duration each. 2. Incorporating the use of cinema equipment compliant with Netflix standards, highend drones, professional cinema lights, sync sound, and other advanced technologies. The aim is to ensure that the produced films are on par with other productions on various global platforms. 3. Complete research, script writing, actors and anchors for the documentaries, production, and post-production, coordination with the experts will be the responsibility of the company. 4. It is expected that at least 15-20 venues will be covered across India for each documentary. The entire logistics (travel, food, lodging, etc. IKS division can help in procuring permissions for the venues from ASI as required and permitted by ASI guidelines) will be the responsibility of the company. 5. More than one firm may be selected with an option to match the price of the L1 firm. 3 III] Deliverables 1. IV] Eligibility Criteria: 1. Previous experience in creating national/international level documentaries especially related to Indian heritage. 2. Previous experience in working with at least one state Government/ Govt. Agency successfully executing a project related to Indian Heritage. 3. Minimum Equipment Quality criteria: a. Minimum 4K UHD (6K preferable) Cameras b. Netflix approved standard equipment c. Drone units (Cinema grade) d. Sliders, Gimbals, Cinema grade lights e. Advanced post-production process equipment 4. 1 min sample video, especially of any previous projects showcasing Indian Heritage. 5. The bidders who are registered/ approved by any Government department/ organization will be given preference. 6. The bidder company should have minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in the field of documentaries and film making. 7. The firm may enclose sufficient documents regarding execution of Government work order/ work order of any other organization including PSUs/ autonomous bodies, specifically in the field of documentaries and film making. 8.
