Description - Description: The Northeast Finland development company Naturpolis Oy is purchasing a fermentation experiment on fish by-products as an expert service as part of the Carbon-wise Circular Economy project. The fermentation experiment focuses on the pres ervation of wild fish by-catch and by-catch, as well as farmed rainbow trout and whitefish intestines, and the further uses that this processing can enable, such as feed use, pet food and biogasification. The fermentation experiment is carried out using a lactic acid-molasses mixture.
