Description - Description: The Marine Corps has a requirement for the procurement and delivery of 169 Backhoe Loaders (BHLs). The BHL Program has been initiated to procure and field a commercially available item that meets the requirements set forth in the Perform ance Specification. This BHL will replace the currently fielded BHL, Caterpillar 420D and 420E, which is reaching the end of its economical service life. The BHL shall be a commercially available item with military modifications. The BHL shall be a wheeled, engine driven vehicle with backhoe, bucket loader, front fork attachment, and be capable of operating hydraulic tools. The BHL will be compatible with the existing Caterpillar work tools. The
