Description - Description: The IAP at the University of Jena wants to procure Tm-doped special fibers for future developments and commission a development project for this purpose. The subject of the development contract is the production of Tm-doped single-mode s ingle-core fibers and, based on the findings, a derived single-mode multi-core fiber with 16 cores. For this purpose, Tm-doped preforms are to be homogenized and adjusted in the refractive index jump in order to achieve SM operation at the application wavelength.
