Description - Description: In 2023, it was announced that a new battery gigafactory would be constructed within the City of St. Thomas. In response to the ongoing and future development required to take full advantage of the new industrial opportunities associated with the gigafactory, the City has undertaken the planning and design of a new industrial park formally named Yarmouth Yards. This new industrial park has triggered the need to construct a second Water Reclamation Facility (WRF2) to treat the additional sanitary flows, which will be located at the Northwest corner of the intersection of Dalewood Road and Water Tower Line.
